I have started articles about the “Appointed Times” and promptly pigeonholed them or deleted them. All of them lacked something so, if you are reading this, rest assured I found the ‘something’. Continue reading
Shalom everyone. I want to thank all of you who wrote or called to make sure that Von and I were still kicking. We are doing very well but have been kept busy by the garden and our Scripture studies. Coming up this summer we will be on the road a great deal, but more on that just a little later. Continue reading
Many people have asked me why I stopped writing “prepping” articles and started writing “religious” articles. The truth is I never thought of myself as a prepper but rather someone who lived an independent lifestyle. And I never thought of my newer articles as “religious” but rather scriptural studies. If I seem to be “short” in some of my responses to questions, I apologize. Continue reading
****I WANT TO THANK MY RECENT VIEWERS FROM ESPAñA, GREECE (hopefully some from my former hometown of Iraklion, Kriti) NORWAY, RUSSIA, UKRAINE, POLAND, TURKEY, HONG KONG SAR* AND ALL MY USUAL READERS FROM THE U.K., U.S., CANADA, BRAZIL AND AUSTRALIA. I THINK THIS JUST PROVES, MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED AND LOOKING FOR ANSWERS. Continue reading
It was not my plan to write another article in this series. I had actually thought about doing one just after I finished Part VII subtitled the Angel of YHVH but decided against it. One night while teaching about the various mountains and why it seemed that YHVH always focused on mountains, Jim S. (Big Muddy) said, “My head is going to explode. You need to write an article about this so we can refer back to it.” That was in early June of this summer (2017) and Von and I have been extremely busy ever since, and will be until the end of the year, and I put the thought out of my mind, or so I thought. It kept creeping back in and taunting me. So, we are going to talk about the mountains of Elohim, what they are and represent and also where they are. Hang on to your hats, it is going to get wild. First, let me dispel a myth; Torah is not law but instruction. The plural of Torah is Torot. In Judaism the first five (5) books of the Bible are known as Torah but inside the pages there are many instructions for us to use to have a good, loving relationship with our Father/Creator. Continue reading
A friend of mine unknowingly confirmed the necessity of this article in a totally unrelated email. Thanks Kathy!
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I want to take this opportunity to thank the many new readers that have come to the site from all over the world. For at least 2 days there were more readers coming from India than even the U.S. Thank you. Also, I did notice a single reader from Vietnam and that gave me great joy. Thank you for taking the time to come to Codgerville!!! Raphael, as always, I want to thank you and you friends in Brazil for your continued interest. John, thank you very much for your interest. And, finally, I would like to explain that I started this article almost 2 weeks ago now but have been under the weather since I began the article and I am, only now, getting strong enough to continue it. I took 6 pages of notes, front and back and single-spaced and as I look at them my only thought is: “Huh?” So please bear with me.*** Continue reading
