Why I Was Wrong About America’s Destiny: Part Two – The Sin

CAUTION: THERE ARE GRAPHIC IMAGES ON THIS PAGE TOWARD THE END!!!

In Part One I promised that I would present to you: “In Part II I will tell you the sin that has brought on these curses and also the time frames for you to begin your measuring of the passing of each 7 year period. I will let you know where we as a nation are in this cycle and how much time remains.” So, with that being said, my purpose is not to try to convince anyone of anything. I am merely trying to present to you what I have learned, which you indicated you wanted to hear. If I try to use theology or my own understanding of YHWH’s Word, I will fail. But if I present to you the facts and you then in turn research them for yourselves and commit it to prayer, you can then make up your own mind. If I try to argue theology I won’t have enough time to present the facts. So, I am giving you the opportunity to become your own theologian. Ultimately, it is each of us that will pay the price for what we believe and have done. That is my theology statement.

I know many of you will say, “All of this sounds mighty Jewish.” Well, you are wrong because 90% or more of Jews don’t want to hear this either. Most people do not want to hear or accept bad news. If you get it and accept you are a member of a small fraternity of believers.

The Sin, is it really that serious?

I am sure that by now you must be asking yourself, “What can be so bad or evil in YHWH’s eyes that not only would He destroy a nation but allow such bad things happen to His people?” Right? Well, the answer is very simple and is contained in the very same scripture I have already given you. Let’s look at it.

Leviticus 26:34, “Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest and enjoy her sabbaths.

Did you know that the land was supposed to rest? Why should the land rest? Where does it say that the land must rest? Is there any evidence that this judgement has happened in the past? Are these some of the questions that you have? If so, let’s now look for the answers.

Look just one chapter prior to 26, chapter 25 and let’s start in verse one (1) and read to verse four (4): “And the Lord spake unto Moses in Mount Sinai saying, (2) Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When ye shall come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord. (3) Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; (4) but in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.”

Oops! We are commanded to let the land rest. I guess that was in the fine print. Now, in all fairness to the educational system in the 50’s and 60’s we were taught that you should rotate your fields allowing the land to rest. This came from the teachings of agricultural experts that were trying to break the cycle of dust storms during the Dust Bowl era. We were also taught to plant trees along the fence lines to slow the wind down. I was taught to divide my fields into seven equal parts and to rotate them so that one part of the field was resting per year. Even this was wrong.

Now, I know some of you looked at this scripture and said: (1) That is the Old Testament and doesn’t apply to us, (2) It refers to the children of Israel and we aren’t the children of Israel, (3) When you come into the land refers to the land of Israel and we live in America so it doesn’t apply. Did I leave any excuses out?

I have looked for years and I have never found an “Expiration Date” on the Old Testament. I cannot even find a “Best When Used By” date anywhere in the Bible. All I see are phrases that refer to “a perpetual statute”, “everlasting covenant”, “a statute forever in your generations”, et al. Here is a New Testament reference you might want to think about: Revelation 11:18. He is going to destroy them that destroy His earth (creation).

Now, without getting into a theological dispute, I will refer the answering of number (2) to a man far more eloquent than I am let you read what he says on the subject. Please read Romans Chapter 11 and see what Paul says on the subject and either believe or not. That is all I have to say on the subject.

As for number (3) I will refer you back to Romans 11 again, but I also want to point out Jonathon Cahn’s excellent book “The Harbinger”. It would take an article as long as his book to provide you with the essential history of this nation so that you could understand that this nation was consecrated to YHWH. Now, before anyone says anything about his theology, I do not know his theology and furthermore I do not care. What I care about is the content and accuracy of the facts contained in the book. PERIOD!

Has this judgement ever happened before?

Undeniably, YES! Go to II Chronicles 36:14-21. Our primary focus is found in verses 19, 20 and 21 but read from 14 to get a little background if you are not familiar with this passage. In this passage you see that YHWH’s Holy city of Jerusalem is sacked, men, women and children killed or carried off into captivity and also the walls of Jerusalem are torn down and the Temple of YHWH is burned and all the vessels of service in the temple are carried off. Why? Look at verse 21.

“To fulfill the Word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten years.” Now, go back and compare this to Leviticus 26:34 “Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies’ land; even then shall the land rest and enjoy her sabbaths.”

Do you see the connection? Do you see the fact that YHWH did not spare His Holy City, His Holy Temple and His Holy people, who are we to think He will spare us? Judgement is coming and it is just around the corner. This concludes the easy part, next is the difficult part, Biblical math.

How YHWH Counts – Biblical Math 101

I know, I know, you hate math. So do I. Remember, I grew up in a generation where our calculator was called a slide rule. Every culture or society has its own numeral system. Some are five (5) base, some ten (10) base, and some twelve (12) base systems. And, there are a variety of others but I think almost all of us are familiar with the 3 that I named. Th Roman numeral system is a pretty good example of a 5 base system. Our currency, our decimal system of weights, height, distance, and volume are common examples of a 10 (decimal) system. A carpenter’s tape measure is a good example of a 12 base system of counting, with 12 inches to the foot.

But YHWH’s system of counting is very different and it just takes a little investigation to discover what that system is and how to use it. Our first example of YHWH’s system of counting is found in Genesis chapter 1 through chapter 2 verse 4. (Gen. 1:1-2:4). By reading this passage you see that YHWH built the whole of Creation in 6 days and rested on the seventh. He blessed it and set it apart from all other days. There are many times in the Scripture that we see examples of the use of seven but let me focus on just a couple. Turn to Leviticus 23 and if you read this entire scripture passage you will see numerous times where we are told to count by 7. But, let’s concentrate on verses 15 & 16.

[Lev 23:15-16 KJV] 15 “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.”

It sounds complicated but it isn’t, you count 7×7=49 plus the next day is 50. Now once again we could debate symbolism, shadows, and many other things but let me try to illustrate this to make it easier, hopefully.

IMG

Please note the number 50 in the first block of the second grid.

I call this the Shavuot system of counting (named after the feast YHWH by the same name, research it-Lev. 23:15-16 et al.). You see 7 sets of 7 days (or Years) plus the first day or year of the next set is the Fiftieth or Jubilee year, in the case of years. Yes, I had to print it up, scan it and import it that way because I want to remain ignorant of a lot of things in the computer world. I know you geeks are laughing right now.) Please note: each grid of 7×7=49 years I call a Shabua. This is a revolution of time called a week in English but it is more than that and I will discuss it in a later article.

Years 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and 49 are sabbatical years. These are the years mentioned in Lev. 25:4-8 and we are commanded to keep them as special years. We cannot plow, plant, harvest or prune our crops, we have to eat of whatever is growing of its own accord, we must let our neighbors, and even foreigners, eat of the voluntary produce. We must also let the animals eat of the voluntary growth as well. Do you see why farmers don’t do this? Because they would not make any money at all from their crops in a sabbatical year or so they think.

Now, you can gather milk from cows, goats, sheep or any livestock that you would normally milk, you can butcher animals and you can still fish. This scripture refers to letting the land rest and marvelous things happen when the land rests.

Here is another very important thing to remember about a sabbatical year; you must forgive your countrymen their debts to you. Whoa! Do you see why this is not the law of the land here in America anymore. Was it ever? Yes, it was prior to 1914. In 1913 the Federal Reserve Act was passed and in 1914 it was established. Prior to this time you could not borrow money for a period of time greater than 7 years. Slowly, and incrementally, the Federal Reserve has raised the time limits for home mortgage loans and even car loans. The scriptural point of view is that if you owe someone money you are a slave to the lender.

The are many things in these scriptures that we could spend days and even weeks on but I am trying to give you a foundation on which to build. We now know that to NOT allow the land to rest is a serious sin in YHWH’s kingdom, one so serious He will destroy even His chosen people. So if this sin is this big why has no one brought it to our attention? There are several reasons and most of them revolve around making money. And the next one is power, which usually goes hand in hand with money.

So when did all this change? Mostly, in the fourth century A.D. when the Vatican changed the calendar, the order of worship. Most of it was codified at the Council of Laodicea. It made it illegal to keep the seventh day sabbath and outlawed “astrology”. Now the outlawing of astrology does not sound too bad but it meant astronomy and to know YHWH’s calendar you had to observe the moon. ((See DANIEL 7:25 (this is a prophecy that a ruler or leader will seek to change times and YHWH’s laws, think about this) Isaiah 66:23, Psalms 81:3, Ezekiel 46:1, Amos 8:5 et. al.) Here is a side note, if you are not familiar with http://www.blueletterbible.org check it out.

Here is one of the things that amazes me; read Revelation 3:14-22. Does Laodicea sound like the place you want to be? If the Council of Laodicea changed the day of YHWH’s Holy Day and changed the commandments do we really want to align ourselves with “Church” of Laodicea? Just thought I would ask.

Right here I am going to make some statements but will not provide proof until in a later article.

In Part III I will give you my sabbatical/Jubilee chart that covers every sabbatical/jubilee year since Adam and will show you how to prove it to yourself and others if you feel up to the challenge.

Where are we as a Nation and how do we count the years?

Here is statement number 1; the last Jubilee cycle to occur was 1996. Remember, that the Jubilee year is the first year of the next cycle. So having said that let me itemize the 7 year cycles, what is in them and what is in store fore us. (Remember that the word “times” in Leviticus can mean “to multiply”. So each preceding 7 year cycle is “multiplied” to the next.)

  1. Cycle one is 1996-2002
  2. Cycle two is 2003-2009
  3. Cycle three is 2010-2016
  4. Cycle four is 2017-2023
  5. Cycle five is 2024-2030

I will stop here and break down these 5 cycles. Yes, there are two more.

Cycle Number One is categorized by Terror as mentioned in Part I. Look to Leviticus 26:16. Cycle Number Two is categorized by drought and famine. Cycle number Three  is the Pestilence Cycle. Cycle Number Four is the War Cycle. And, Cycle Number Five is categorized by captivity and starvation.

As I stated Cycle number One began in 1996 so research “the year Osama bin Laden declared war on America” and see what you come up with. If that is not enough 1998 was the repeal of the Glass-Steagal Bill and that has created more havoc than OBL could have ever imagined. But 1996 is the beginning of the cycle so let’s begin there. Note that the time period for Cycle Number One coincides with 9/11/01 and the beginning of the Afghan and Iraq wars.

Cycle Number Two is the cycle of famine and drought. Please look at the chart below (I apologize for it being out of focus, once again the geeks are laughing) but you will see that the warmest years on record occurred during Cycle Number Two.

Screen-Shot-2013-01-16-at-12.28.17-AM

Cycle Number Three is the Pestilence Cycle and is categorized by plagues, destruction of cattle, make you few in number, wild beasts shall rob you of your children and earthquakes in divers places. Now look to Google or other search engines and see how geologically active this period of time is. Also look and see when some of the most damaging earthquakes have occurred and you will see that they match Cycle Number Three.

Cycle Number Four is categorized by war and once again pestilence, in the YOUR nation, and we shall be given over to captivity (Lev. 26:25).

child beheaded

Christian child beheaded by ISIS. This will come to America!

14065694671961_700

Christians and non-Muslims beheaded in Iraq for their faith.

And then Cycle Number Five is categorized by EXTREME hunger so serious you will eat your own children and grandchildren. After that you will go into slavery. Your wives, daughters, granddaughters and even sons and grandsons will be raped and then murdered. For the proof of what is coming you have no further to look than what is happening in Iraq, Syria and Kurdistan today. We, NSA in the 1970’s and ’80’s, spied on the Jordanian Diplomatic Corps and on numerous occasions heard the words of thanks for the King providing homosexual “escorts” for the visiting dignitaries, primarily Tunisian and Moroccan but dignitaries from all Arab countries. This is the way of the world outside the boundaries of the United States.

Okay, this is the end of Part II. In Part III I will give you a tool to verify the fact that it is possible to know when the exact sabbatical and Jubilee years are plus some research material. I know what i have outlines so far is not a pretty sight but it is fact.

23 thoughts on “Why I Was Wrong About America’s Destiny: Part Two – The Sin

  1. Just finished reading “The Harbinger” and the verse that has been foremost in my mind is
2 Chronicles 7:14 (Complete Jewish Bible):

14 then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.

Sadly, I do not see many folks nowadays giving up their prideful and defiant ways, nor admitting culpability for their sins. My heart breaks for them and their children 😦

    • Unfortunately you are correct. Most people think that everything is fine and continue to watch The Price is Right, Ellen, The View, drinking the Kool-Aid and forget about our responsibility to the Creator and expect to be blessed as a result. The number of times I have espoused patriotism, instead of Faith in, Obedience to and Repentance to our Heavenly Father. So I bear a responsibility for my short-sightedness. Now that I understand my shortcoming I will do my best to sound the alarm.

  2. Dear C –
As you know, I am poorly-versed in the lessons of Scripture and reading a lot of God’s word to begin remedying that. I am in a quandary, which I respectfully present here and with humble apologies, in case my confusion/puzzlement is shared by others who follow this site:

You are presenting a powerful argument for the perils we – as a people, a nation, and a world – are destined to face due to our straying from or breaking God’s commands, ordinances and directives. But those commands, etc. range widely (to my pathetic human mind) from the obvious, (e.g., the prohibitions against bearing false witness and engaging sexual relations with one’s sister) to the more complicated and difficult, (e.g., refraining from doing any field work every seventh year, no tattoos or cutting of one’s hair, plus the dietary restrictions … no eating of any shellfish, rabbit or pork) and extending out to the curious and almost illogical, e.g. the wide array of slaughtered animals and burnt offerings that are to be given to priests for the praise of the Lord or atonement of our sins. Moreover, God dictates clearly (Leviticus) that they who break many of his commands (e.g., sexual perversion) are to be put to death (by stoning) and for other transgressions, at the very least they must be “cut off from their people”, which I interpret as banishment. Yet, also in Leviticus, God says we shall not kill. (Lev 24:17.)

It would seem very problematic and arrogant for us to proceed (but we all do, right?) to “pick and choose” which commands and directives must be followed. Consequently, the only technically sound path is to seek to follow ALL of God’s commandments, correct? Yet, try to institute the God-ordained stoning for certain homosexual acts (a man lying with another man as he would a woman) or blaspheming the Lord’s name (“Whoever blasphemes the name of Yahweh is to be put to death; the whole community must stone him/) and see how long before your are attacked, arrested for murder or locked up as a dangerous extremist/terrorist. Do you see my point?

To my mind, we start with the obvious (declaring Jesus as your savior, seeking to know him and being his servant, and following the Ten Commandments) and work toward practicing the more difficult of his directives to follow. Surely, if everyone did this our nation would improve quickly and in amazing ways. But still, is it not guaranteed that we will fall short and thereby destined, nonetheless, to suffer the wrath which your articles describe as our fate?

Thanks for reading and perhaps replying, when your overloaded schedule permits.

    God bless you and yours

  3. Hi Robert,
Yes, it is a quandary because, as you said, we must first seek to Know Jesus as our Savior. But remember, Jesus said that “my yoke is easy and my burden is light”. If you will look at Jeremiah 31:31-34 you will see that God sent a new covenant wherein He would write His laws in our hearts. When people consciously think to keep a law they are burdened and therefore under the law. But when keeping the law is so that you will make your Father proud of you and that you love your Father so much that you daily want to please Him then keeping the law is a joy not a burden.

The word for kill is Ratsach in Hebrew and means murder. This is not the same as killing in self defense, war or to protect your family. Even in the Mosaic law they are justifiable killing. It is senseless murder or murder out of hate, like Cain killing Abel.

If you read and study and see what was involved in performing each sacrifice then you begin to understand the shame and suffering that Jesus suffered on account of our sin. He was the acceptable sacrifice that could restore God’s people to fellowship. Secondly, why don’t the Jews perform sacrifices to this day? Because it can only be done in the Temple or the Tabernacle. That is why you hear so much about building a new temple but the want to place it on the Temple Mount and it never was there. It was in the ancient City of David. What is called the Temple Mount was actually the Roman fort Ft. Antonia, named after Roman general Marc Anthony. If people would read the Works of Flavius Josephus they would know this. Unfortunately they are more willing to follow the teachings and traditions of men rather than the Word, who was Jesus Christ.

Now, sin is sin, period. It is the way that the sin is dealt with on a personal basis that is different. Hope this helps and if it doesn’t please let me know.
    C

    • Thanks you for your efforts, C, although your reply did not help me that much. I’m sure that is due to my ignorance of the Bible and its interpretations. Your reference to Jeremiah? Is that saying that we are under, and now bound by, a new covenant (set of promises and expectation) with YHWH?

You say, “Sin is sin” (and that some killing is murder while other is justified) and the difference is how we individually deal with it. If my neighbor were to commit adultery with my wife, and my other neighbors and I banded together and stoned him to death, I and others would be prosecuted for murder, and perhaps executed. Is that a just killing and we, following God’s word, should do it to protect the family unit, regardless of man’s laws and our suffering due to them? I’m still confused.

      • Sin is sin in YHWH’s eyes. You and I see sin everyday and are numb to it but YHWH cannot look on sin. If you try to obey, and I mean try, because no man can keep all the commandments and to break one is to break them all. But Jesus expanded on the commandments and people have missed it. He said that if you look at a woman and desire her in your heart you have committed adultery. Will you stone every man for his thoughts? No. He told us that “thou shalt not murder” would also include calling a man a fool. Why? How about character assassination? So you see if we try to “physically” keep the law we will fail, that is the grace and mercy that we have under the Messiah. When we sin we must repent but we must also strive to not commit that sin again. If we could keep the law Jesus would not have had to die on the cross.

If a man tries to kill your wife, will you let him? Or, will you defend your wife? If you kill him trying to defend her that is justifiable homicide, even in Californication. If you want to stone people you could be pretty sure you would find a place in Iraq, Saudi Arabia or other such hardline countries. But in America, we used to have a Constitution, which was founded on Christian principles, (See Holy Trinity Church vs. US 1898, Supreme Court decision) which protected a man’s God given right to protect his family.

Now as far as what you should do relative to man’s laws and God’s laws people immediately turn to Romans 13 and say “See, you have to obey the government.” Well, they are correct up to the time the government’s laws are contrary to God’s laws. We have a responsibility to be obedient to God’s laws first and man’s laws second. Paul says that he would not know what sin is without the law (Torah). He also calls the law a tutor, that teaches us right from wrong and it even, if we are alert and diligent enough, to learn from the law who the Messiah is. Look at the example of the Bereans who recognized Christ as the Messiah by studying the Torah (law).

Does this help a little more or is it as clear as mud? LOL.
        C.

  4. Another quandary, Cyrus:
The examples in your second to last paragraph clearly imply, to my reading, a message that the heinous acts against America and the suffering we are destined to endure will come from middle eastern tribes or groups, as well as perhaps military action and occupation by Russia and China. But, is God’s punishment reserved only for those who claim they believe in him and His Son and then violate His teachings? That seems to say those who do not recognize God (assume most of Russia and China) are able freely to ravage us; and those who do believe in “a god” (Allah), and yet commit these despicable and savage actions are not called to answer for them.

In short, if we truly believe and accept that God is all powerful and rules over all the heavens and “his land” – the earth and all who inhabit it – then doesn’t this compel a conclusion that his wrath will be visited upon all transgressors and the disobedient of all nations and tribes, pretty much equally? The only other alternative is perhaps a scenario in which us believers as destined to suffer (as it’s almost a sure thing most of us will not repent and turn to right action) but NOT be fully forsaken and still capable to joining Him in Heaven, whereas our enemies (as spoken of in Leviticus, Revelation and II Chronicles) will spend their days in Hell, both on earth and thereafter.

Again, thank for considering my questions, naive or misguided as they may be.

    • Very good question. If you look back into the Scriptures you see that YHWH used Pharaoh to punish His chosen people. After this punishment was finished He promptly destroyed Pharaoh’s army. Also, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was used to chastise YHWH’s people, he later went mad for 7 years and then his kingdom was restored but judgement had been pronounced and in the days of Belshazzar, Babylon was destroyed. Also, we see that both Sargon of Assyria was used by YHWH to carry the 10 northern tribes into captivity but the Assyrians didn’t have long to brag about because of first the Greeks and then the Romans. And, Rome moved onto the scene to chastise Israel even further, and to fulfill scripture back in Daniel, then they too were destroyed. YHWH uses evil kingdoms or nations to chastise His people. But once the evil nations have accomplished YHWH’s will they are soon destroyed. So it will be with the coming judgement. There are scriptures, especially in Ezekiel that will show the fate of not only YHWH’s people but also His enemies. We’ll get to them later.

      Hope this helps.
      C

      • Yes, C. That did help to erase a lot of my confusion. (Now, if only Allah was a dedicated and committed to punishing those who are perverting his lessons of peace and brotherhood … assuming those in fact ARE his wishes.)

  5. Gee, except for hungryhebrew last Monday, I’m the only one who has posted comments or replies to this fascinating Part II. I wonder if that indicates Country’s corp of readers are in total agreement, substantial disagreement, asleep, confused or focused on other pursuits … or maybe none of these.

  6. I agree but I think there is a part that is missing. You need to read the Destruction of Sabbath by Chris Tyreman of the thechronicleproject.org. It fills in the missing pieces. You can find it on Amazon easily.

    • Hi Sondra,
I have not heard of this book but will read it as soon as possible which may be some time in September or October. The Scripture is very clear as to what constitutes the first of the year, Aviv. Although some people think that the instructions are “mysterious” I find them very simple. Face it, most people observing the Sabbath were simple farmers and did not need a degree in theology or even astro-physics. This is something that an ordinary human being, observing nature, could figure out. Even the native Americans in the US Southwest calculated how this was to be determined. Thank you for your suggestion.
      CC

      • Hello, C –
Assuming you have the time, can you refresh my grasp with a reference, concerning your statement, “The Scripture is very clear as to what constitutes the first of the year, Aviv.”? Thanks, friend.

  7. Hi Robert,
I apologize for not writing and having the next part finished but I have been ill. This is the first time in a week I have almost felt human. Anyway, look to Exodus Chapter 12. Also, look at Chapter 13 verse 4, Exo. 23:15, 34:18. Don’t forget Leviticus 23, the whole chapter is very important to understand this chapter because it outlines All of God’s holy days. Then in Chapter 25 we are given His Holy years. Also, look at Deuteronomy 16:1. Rosh Hashanah is NOT one of YHWH’s holy days. One thing people either don’t know, or don’t care about is found in Deu. 4:2. We are commanded NOT to add to God’s Word or to take away anything from it. Rosh Hashanah, like so many other holidays are not found in YHWH’s Word but are celebrated nonetheless and this is wrong. This is not a popular position in today’s consumer driven economy but it is His Word and who is His Word? See John chapter 1. People miss this gigantic doctrinal statement that Jesus was the WORD MADE FLESH so to add to or take away from the Word is to add to or take away from Jesus the Messiah.

The first 5 books of the Bible is called the Pentateuch in Greek or Torah in Hebrew. Penta means 5 in Greek and teukos means scrolls, so literally it means 5 scrolls. Torah means instruction or teaching in Hebrew. I point this out because in the Torah or Pentateuch (Deu. 4:2) we have the warning to not add or take away from God’s Word and we also find it in the last book of the Bible, Revelation, Chap. 22:18-19.

    Hope this helps.

    • Cy –

First and foremost, I am very sorry you have not been feeling your usual chipper self. Von’s loving ministrations will surely bring you back to peak form very soon.

Less importantly, I lurned numburz good in H.S. but am still having trouble with your “Biblical Math 101” (Scripture numbering system.) You said this morning, “the first of the year, Aviv.” Can you share what date that is currently, (and I’m hoping that’s a half-way intelligent question) I’ll bet it’s NOT January 1st. I can’t seem to make the calculations, even with your extensive presentation in this latest article.

By the way, I really enjoyed (if that’s the appropriate word) your cautionary remarks about not adding or taking away from God’s word, plus the eloquence with which they were expressed.

Now … the Doctor says get well! (I say that as a technical doctor, i.e., I have a Juris Doctor degree from a fine Calif. law school. The ordeal taught me how corrupting “the law” can be and that way too often it’s used as a malicious weapon to unjustly enrich instead of ethically, as a defensive tool.)

      Your true friend

      • Hi Robert,
No, your question is a very good one. And thank you, I am feeling much better today than yesterday. I still have some difficulty breathing but I am doing better. As you probably know there is a “New Moon” every 29.53 days. Now, today NASA calls the dark of the moon the New Moon but in Scripture the New Moon is the first visible tiny sliver. You usually see it just at sunset either on the 29th or 30th day. There are no months of 31 days in YHWH’s kingdom. The Greek and Roman calendar’s were affected by politics but it is hard to argue with the moon. Here is the formal way of expressing today’s date according to the YHWH’s lunar calendar: 23th day of the 5th month 5850 years after the creation of Adam. Now, you can break this down into greater detail but we can discuss that later.

Now, this year, the first day of Aviv was April first. What is April First? April fool’s Day. Why is it called that? Because the NEW YEAR on God’s calendar will usually fall within 15 days, either way of April 1st on the Roman Calendar. When the “official” New Year was declared by Rome as being January 1st, to commemorate the resurrection of Janus, the two-headed Patron god of Rome. This god died on the winter solstice, at that time, was about Dec. 25th. (Before everyone protests that the solstice is Dec. 22 please remember that the Roman calendar has been modified dozens if not hundreds of times.) This god’s lover went to a witch and asked how to resurrect the dead Janus and was told to make a tea of mistletoe, drink it and then kiss the dead god. The mistletoe combined with the powerful herb mistletoe would resurrect Janus. When is mistletoe used in today’s holidays? How many days are there between Christmas and New Years? Why is Jesus’ birthday celebrated at all much less on December 25th? According to Scripture he was probably born in September or October.

You see how complicated something as simple as a calendar can become? Anyway, the Romans said that anyone who kept the “old” New Year” instead of the new “new Year” was a fool. That is how this came about.

Also, one thing to point out. Because the barley was late ripening this year, this year was a “leap” year. The word aviv or abib in Hebrew comes from the idea that the heads of barley “bow” or bend over just before it reseeds itself. It is when the seed of the barley is ready to harvest. Jesus is represented in Scripture as the barley harvest. We are referred to in Scripture as the wheat harvest. Does this little tip help understand the many parables in the New Testament when Jesus refers to the wheat and the tares?

I will try to get to work on Part III. YHWH bless you and yours, my friend.

  8. ….genuinely stated like a true Watchman.
I and many others thank you for this series of posts. I know it shall keep me occupied for a while just digging into these references….. You seem to be a vessel. Thank you, my Brother.
Shall we be observant to His guidance and may God Bless you, Von and all.

  9. Shalom in the mighty name of Yeshua,
could not find your blog (and I tried a whole bunch of searches in “bing”) and finally asked our Heavenly Father, and here I am.
Here is an interesting site you all might want to dig in.
    http://www.119ministries.com
    Found it yesterday.
The book of 2. John is very clear about YHWH’s commandments as well.
And then think about the words that Yeshua said in Matthew 5:19
“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
If we obey HIS commandments (not just the 10) we choose life, as stated in the OT.

There is a big difference between legalism and obedience to Yahweh’s statues, laws, and commandments. They were NEVER meant to save us. We obey because we love our Heavenly Father, and HE knows what is good for us because of HIS everlasting love.
The enemy has caused so much confusion in that area because it is one of the most important issues for us as “born again” children of the Most High.

    In HIS service,
    Alexandra

    • Shalom Alexandra,
I could not agree more. We are obedient because we want to please our Father not because we have to or because therein lies salvation. The part many people forget is that it does not say that whosoever teaches men to break the least of His commandments will go straight to hell. It says they will be called the least in the kingdom of Heaven. So, if i do not wear and teach others not to wear their tzitzith, which I proudly wear, then I will be called “least” in the Kingdom of heaven. It is not a salvational issue but an issue of obedience based in love for our Father. The most overlooked or forgotten Scripture in the entire Bible is John Chapter One. This is probably the most important doctrinal statement in the Renewed Covenant. If Yeshua is the Word, He then is the Creator since all was created by the Word. If He is the Word then He also is the Torah since the Torah is Yah’s Word given in the beginning. If we change, delete, or disobey the Torah we do so at our own peril because it makes Yeshua’s death to non-effect. This is very serious. My youngest daughter made me aware of the 119ministries website when i felt like i was the only one seeing the prophecies contained in Leviticus. I found other sites. I balanced what they said with what I had been shown. What I write is what I have been shown. Once again, I am trying to be obedient, that’s all, not perfect. I will try to get the next article out in the next couple of days, Yah willing. Our tiny kahal has suffered a setback and we will have to be faithful. We are trying to prepare for Sukkot at the same time and deal with a family member’s death. (Not mine but the pastor’s uncle.) So keep us in prayer.

We do not where Yah will put us for Sullot but we will be faithful. If you want to come to Texas for a small and informal observance of Sukkot let me know and I will give you instructions on how to get here. Some of our number are going to one of my other daughters in Alabama for Sukkot. So even though we will not all be together this year we will be united.

      Ahavah,
      CC

      • Thank you very much.
My husband will take a few of our children to the Creation Museum on Sukkot. Ken Ham offers free admission for children this year. They made these plans a long time ago. Maybe there will be a time we can celebrate one of Yahweh’s feasts together.
May your time with family be showered with blessings from our Heavenly Father.
