2013: Will You Survive the Obama-nation of Desolation?

DO NOT LET THE TITLE FOOL YOU! This article is NOT a discourse or dissertation in theology. Most sources that I will quote are SECULAR not SCRIPTURAL and much is simply my opinion and, although researched, is still just an opinion.

Yes! The title is a play on Words taken from the Scripture. (Mat. 24:15, Dan. 11:31, 12:11, Mark 13:14) It is not my purpose, in this article, to give anyone my view of prophecy found in the Holy Bible. Rather, my purpose is, and has been, to help you prepare for what is about to befall our nation.

For about two years now, first on the blog Don’t Tread On Me and now here at Codgerville, I have been warning you that it was the time to GET ARMED! Now, it may be too late even though the government as of today (1/1/2013) has taken no action to curtail our Second Amendment rights. Why? The law of supply and demand. The demand for firearms and related ammunition and magazines is too great for the supply to catch up in a reasonable period of time, say, 6 months. By then there may have been a gun control bill or the U.N. Smalls Arms Treaty passed. Each of which could make procuring a weapon almost impossible. Don’t think about it, ACT!

But will guns, ammunition and 20-round magazines enable you to survive the tragedy that is about to descend upon America? NO! It might give you the means of defending yourself and your family from marauders, thieves and brigands, but a gun cannot give you all that you need to survive a societal collapse, from whatever cause, in America. Learn how to modify your lifestyle, while you still can, to ensure the survival of yourself and your family.

It is better to prepare for disaster 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months or even 10 years too early than 1 day too late. Don’t be guilty of procrastinating when your or your family’s lives hang in the balance. Like I have said many times, it is time to get armed.

“When do we shoot back?” Believe it or not I have been asked this question many times, as of late. And my answer is, you must decide that in your own mind. Taking a life, even that of an enemy, will forever change you. I will fight to defend my family, my faith and my country. I will not take that responsibility lightly, but I cannot tell you when you should do so. Also, before you even think about taking another person’s life, commit it to prayer. You and only you can determine what your PREFERENCES are and what your CONVICTIONS are.

Your Preferences are those things that are nice but not worth dying for. Convictions are those lines in the sand that you should have already drawn in your mind and in your heart that say to you; “When they cross THIS line I will fight back!” You must decide those things NOW if you have not already done so. DRAW THE LINE, STAND AND FIGHT!

“But why do I have to do that now?” When the fighting starts there will be no time for prayer, for debate, for counseling or anything else but fighting.

Who will you have to fight? It depends on your CONVICTIONS! It might be Muslims, atheists, blacks, whites, Christians or government agents coming to take your guns and enslave your family. That is why you must make up you mind NOW! It will vary from person to person according to their own prejudices.

Make no mistake about it, America is about to go through a radical societal collapse. What will cause it? Gun confiscation? War in the Middle-east? WWIII? Economic collapse, EMP? It could be any one of the aforementioned triggers or others that begin the chain reaction that will end in America, as we know it, being destroyed. For many of us raised in the 50’s and 60’s, America as we knew has been destroyed. All that remains is a facade, like new paint on a wall eaten through by rot and termites. So, what am I saying? I am saying the same thing I have for the last 2 years: prepare your hearts, your minds, your spirits and those of your family for what is about to befall America. What am I not saying? Don’t grab a gun, run out into the street and start shooting people. If that is all that you get out of my writings please quit reading them. Instead, I have tried to teach and yes, even preach, self-reliance, self-sufficiency, responsibility, preparedness and stewardship.

Many of you are in countries where it is not an option to purchase a weapon in order to defend your home and family. For those of you in this predicament I have written about making bows and arrows, spears, knives, blow-guns and other topics. Also, for those of you in other countries, don’t hate Americans for what is about to happen because, when the dominoes start falling, it will inevitably will take your nation in the collapse as well. Just remember, we Americans were also against the policies of the U.S. government.

Like I said at the top of the article, it may actually be too late for you to purchase the weapon(s) of your choice. You may have to settle for another type of weapon. You may even want to consider air rifles. NO! Not BB-guns but real air rifles like those produced by master gunsmith Dennis Quackenbush (http://www.quackenbushairguns.com/index.html). They are powerful enough to take big game in America and even some in Africa. Look into it. You will be surprised.
